What are SMART goals?

What are S.M.A.R.T. goals?

▶️Specific

When goals are too general, they can feel overwhelming.

Can you narrow down what needs to be accomplished?

▶️Measurable

How will you know you’ve achieved your goal?

Will you be able to tell how much you were able to do and how well?

▶️Achievable

Is the goal doable?

Do you have the necessary skills and resources?

If not, is this something that can realistically be outsourced?

▶️Relevant

Is the goal relevant to your mission and vision for your business?

Will it help you meet other goals for your business?

Is this an important goal to you and why?

▶️Time-Bound

What is the time frame for accomplishing the goal? Please note that it is perfectly okay to be flexible with the time frame - sometimes we over- or underestimate our circumstances!

Your current business goals will determine the direction that your marketing takes. If your goal is to drastically increase sales, then this would take an entirely different marketing approach than remaining status quo/keeping the same level of customers you currently have.

Writing SMART goals can help you stay focused and develop steps to meet your goals more easily.

We go over these during our full Marketing Strategy Plan reports and help you identify while short term and long term goals fall in line with each stipulation of your business' SMART goals.
